Prunus lusitanica (Portuguese Laurel) – ball

Prunus lusitanica is possibly the most popular plant on the nursery, due to its versatility. We grow it as a hedge, as tall screening trees and bushes, and we shape them into various topiary. They have robust growth, and because there are many small leaves per branch, they appear very dense and full faster than some other varieties. The red stems and bright green new growth are the cherry on top.
