Parrotia persica (Persian Ironwood) – ball

Parrotia persica is an excellent multi-seasonal tree. The foliage changes from green into gold, orange, red and purple before dropping its leaves in the autumn. Like other members of the witch hazel family, it flowers when most other plants are asleep, producing many small, colorful flowers in the winter/early spring.
